Looks like Fay might need to take a minute to… Uh… Reset.
I legit love this desert. Saute up some peaches in butter and honey with a dash of cinnamon, deglaze with a generous shot of rum or bourbon, and burn it off. Pour over vanilla ice cream, and enjoy. ^.^
I struggled SO much with the last panel here. I ended up liking how everybody looks, but I just could NOT get the sizes right… I got a lot closer, but.. ugh. Better next time!
No need to apologize for anything! ANd yeah, Fay looks well and properly mussed by this experience!
And for the dessert, if you make it on a regular basis, I would recommend trying Bumbu rum. It will do to your tastebuds what Ed & Fay just went through… 😉
Ooh! I’ve seen Bumbu around but never tried it. Would you recommend the regular or the XO?
The original. The aroma resembles Butter Rum Lifesavers (yeah, dating myself with that one) but the flavor is quite clean and smooth without typical spirit harshness. And, oddly enough, it was Bumbu that inspired me to make hot buttered rum. Another fun one is Koloa’ coffee rum. Great straight or in a glass with a little heavy cream and ice cube. Either one is good, but I would gladly accept another scar for Bumbu.
