You know you’re in trouble when Cid is getting to the issues behind your relationship before you are.
There’s something that a reader said to me years ago that’s stuck with me ever since. They said they liked how I used different perspectives, and not just the simple side-on talking heads look. Occasionally I am haunted by that accolade. Damn, it would be so much easier if I would just draw ONE view and stick to it! lol
Fox is aware of the possibilities with Kitty, it seems, but remains deeply unsettled by them…
“She’s like my little sister” is the answer people have been asking you to say in canon for like ten years now. It makes much more sense for him to say than what he said the party. It still makes him an asshole for turning his back on his sister during her emotional crisis, but at least it shows he thinks of her as something other than a walking toaster like some people interpreted from his coldness.
It’s been hinted at and talked around before, but never really stated outright. Well, not since she first arrived. I never said Fox isn’t an asshole. He’s just not always the asshole he appears to be. ^.^
And Cid gives Fox squick face. Again. Definitely agree with Vynes: good to have this in HF canon. Also, I like the rollover text 🙂 (And regarding perspective/viewpoints, you are now not the only one haunted by it. I feel sorry for your poor colorist trying to figure out what stuff is sometimes ;P Always looks good in the end though.)
