Home Again
Fox is notoriously good at picking up on the attentions (and intentions) of his friends… Which is to say pretty much anything shy of tying him to a bed seems to just fly right over his head.
Ok, so this is an example of what I think of as a “light” punchline. That is to say, it’s not really a joke hit so much as poking a bit at the characters. It’s only funny within the context of the characters, which is far more self-referential than I’m usually ok with, but it’s also supposed to be adding a bit more flavor to the characters. Also, this is going somewhere so, there’s that…
Ok, now that I’ve painfully over explained this comic, I really like how Pixi’s blue dye-job turned out. I spent way too much time messing around with shades until I found one I liked, and only after finishing it realized that she’s totally in that easter-bunny blue. Ah well, I suppose it’s seasonally appropriate. (But don’t tell here I said that, ok? >.>)
A question has been posed before, more than once in fact, as to the nature of Fox and Kitty’s relationship. I have a lot of… Well if it were somebody else’s comic it would be my “head canon” but I guess since this is mine it’s just canon… Anyway I have a lot of history and stuff that goes into that, but I haven’t put much into the comic proper. As such, I’m going to explore a bit of that moving forward, although I can’t promise it will all be punchline ready. (See todays comic!)
Short version, I guess: I hope you like Anthroids!
