Fox seems nervous.
What do you think? Is it because he can’t stop thinking about “If she was here we could compare…” or is it because nobody liked to be called somebody-else-ligh?
Either way, he’s probably right to be nervous.
I really liked drawing Squeek in panel 3, it’s a fun pose and I think the sense of spontaneous excitement worked well. Also, Mykie’s ear is in Fox’s in panel 4 and for some reason that kept making me chuckle. I don’t know if that’s funny to anybody else, but I liked it.
Point of note: Cid, Mykie, Fox and Pixi are all still sharing the apartment. We have never seen in side Cid and Mykie’s room. What’s it like in there since they broke up do you think?
It’s chaos in the room, pure, unadulterated chaos. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes. The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria! You know, the usual 😉
Unfortunately for Fox, his track record is such that anyone he is interested in eventually decides to date one of his female friends instead of him. If that track record holds up, in a few months Squeek will end up dating someone such as Pixi or Kitty regardless of how much he might want to ‘keep her’ for himself. But that won’t stop us from rooting for him anyways. Go on Fox, show her you are worth staying with!
